1. Copy Random_Select.mse file to your maxroot\Scripts.
2. In max,Run MAXScirpt--New MAXScript,copy following codes to it:
macroscript randomselect1 category: "FeilangTools"\
icon:#("MAXScript",1) tooltip:"Random Select"
(
filein "$Scripts\\Random_Select.mse"
)

And then in the maxscript editor inferface,run File--Evaluate All
3. In max menu bar,run Customize--Customize User Inferfade,then select toolbar.In the category listbox,select FeilangTools.Now you can see the script named "Random Select" there.Drag and drop it to your main toolbar.There will be a button.Click it.
4. Colse the maxscript editor without saving.Enjoy them:)

how do i get this to work on max as a "call-able" command? where i can assign a shortcut to it for max to execute? thanks!
