Material_ID : RenderElement

Material_ID - superclass: RenderElement; super-superclass:MAXWrapper - 4:0 - classID: #(20, 0)

The Material_ID RenderElement outputs the material IDs assigned to objects via the Material Effects channel in the Material Editor. Available in 3ds Max 8 and higher.

Note:

This RenderElement is not available in Autodesk VIZ.

Gets the bitmap the RenderElement writes to.

<Material_ID>.elementName String default: "Material ID" -- string

Gets/Sets the name of the RenderElement.

<Material_ID>.enabled BooleanClass default: true -- boolean

Enables/Disables the RenderElement.

<Material_ID>.filterOn BooleanClass default: false -- boolean; FilteringOn

Enables/Disables filtering for the RenderElement.
