Meshop Editable_Mesh UI property methods

Note: All of the following methods are applicable on editable mesh only!

Methods:

meshop.getAffectBackfacing <Mesh mesh>

Returns the state of the Affect Backfacing checkbox in the Soft Selection rollout.

meshop.setAffectBackfacing <Mesh mesh> <boolean>

Sets the state of the Affect Backfacing checkbox in the Soft Selection rollout.

meshop.getBubble <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Bubble value in the Soft Selection rollout.

meshop.setBubble <Mesh mesh> <float>

Sets the Bubble value in the Soft Selection rollout.

meshop.getDisplacementMapping <Mesh mesh>

meshop.setDisplacementMapping <Mesh mesh> <boolean>

 

meshop.getExtrusionType <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Extrusion type:

1 - Group

2 - Local

meshop.setExtrusionType <Mesh mesh> <int>

Sets the Extrusion type:

1 - Group

2 - Local

meshop.getFalloff <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Falloff value in the Soft Selection rollout.

meshop.setFalloff <Mesh mesh> <float>

Sets the Falloff value in the Soft Selection rollout.

meshop.getIgnoreBackfacing <Mesh mesh>

Returns the state of the Ignore Backfacing checkbox in the Selection rollout.

meshop.setIgnoreBackfacing <Mesh mesh> <boolean>

Sets the state of the Ignore Backfacing checkbox in the Selection rollout.

meshop.getIgnoreVisEdges <Mesh mesh>

Returns the state of the Ignore Visible Edges checkbox in the Selection rollout.

Returns the Scale value used for Normal display in the Selection rollout..

Returns the Pinch value in the Soft Selection rollout.

meshop.setPinch <Mesh mesh> <float>

Sets the Pinch value in the Soft Selection rollout.

meshop.getPlanarThreshold <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Planar Thresh. value in the Selection rollout.

meshop.setPlanarThreshold <Mesh mesh> <float>

Sets the Planar Thresh. value in the Selection rollout.

meshop.getSelByVertex <Mesh mesh>

Returns the state of the By Vertex checkbox in the Selection rollout.

meshop.setSelByVertex <Mesh mesh> <boolean>

Sets the state of the By Vertex checkbox in the Selection rollout.

meshop.getShowFNormals <Mesh mesh>

Returns the state of the Show Normals checkbox in the Selection rollout when in Face, Polygon or Element Sub-Object Mode.

Sets the state of the Show Normals checkbox in the Selection rollout when in Face, Polygon or Element Sub-Object Mode.

meshop.getShowVNormals <Mesh mesh>

Returns the state of the Show Normals checkbox in the Selection rollout when in Vertex Sub-Object Mode.

meshop.setShowVNormals <Mesh mesh> <boolean>

Returns the state of the Show Normals checkbox in the Selection rollout when in Vertex Sub-Object Mode.

Returns the state of the Use Soft Selection checkbox in the Soft Selection rollout.

meshop.setSoftSel <Mesh mesh> <boolean>

Sets the state of the Use Soft Selection checkbox in the Soft Selection rollout.

meshop.getSplitMesh <Mesh mesh>

Returns the state of the Split Mesh checkbox in the Surface Properties rollout when in Object mode.

meshop.setSplitMesh <Mesh mesh> <boolean>

Sets the state of the Split Mesh checkbox in the Surface Properties rollout when in Object mode.

meshop.getSSEdgeDist <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Soft Selection Edge Distance value.

meshop.setSSEdgeDist <Mesh mesh> <int>

Sets the Soft Selection Edge Distance value.

meshop.getSSUseEdgeDist <Mesh mesh>

Returns the state of the Soft Selection Edge Distance checkbox.

Sets the state of the Soft Selection Edge Distance checkbox.

Returns the Subdivision Angle value.

meshop.getSubdivisionMaxTriangles <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Maximum Number of Triangles value found under Advanced Properties... dialog of the Subdivision Properties rollout.

meshop.setSubdivisionMaxTriangles <Mesh mesh> <int>

Sets the Maximum Number of Triangles value found under Advanced Properties... dialog of the Subdivision Properties rollout.

meshop.getSubdivisionMethod <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Subdivision Method. It can be one of the following: #regular, #spatial, #curvature, #spatialAndCurvature

meshop.setSubdivisionMethod <Mesh mesh> {#regular | #spatial | #curvature | #spatialAndCurvature}

Sets the Subdivision Method.

meshop.getSubdivisionMinLevels <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Minimum Subdivision Levels value found under Advanced Properties... dialog of the Subdivision Properties rollout.

meshop.setSubdivisionMinLevels <Mesh mesh> <int>

Sets the Minimum Subdivision Levels value found under Advanced Properties... dialog of the Subdivision Properties rollout.

meshop.getSubdivisionSteps <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Subdivision Steps value.

meshop.setSubdivisionSteps <Mesh mesh> <int>

Sets the Subdivision Steps value.

meshop.getSubdivisionStyle <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Subdivision Style. It can be one of the following: #tree, #grid, #delaunay

meshop.setSubdivisionStyle <Mesh mesh> {#tree | #grid | #delaunay}

Sets the Subdivision Style.

meshop.getSubdivisionView <Mesh mesh>

Returns the state of the View-Dependent checkbox in the Surface Properties.

meshop.setSubdivisionView <Mesh mesh> <boolean>

Set the state of the View-Dependent checkbox in the Surface Properties.

meshop.getWeldPixels <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Target Weld pixels value.

meshop.setWeldPixels <Mesh mesh> <int>

Sets the Target Weld pixels value.

meshop.getWeldThreshold <Mesh mesh>

Returns the Weld Selected Threshold value.

meshop.setWeldThreshold <Mesh mesh> <float>

Sets the Weld Selected Threshold value.
